I remember a period in my life when I was desperately searching for answers. Answers that would help us better understand our son.
Like most people, he could be described with many adjectives; however, nothing seemed consistent. We read and we tested out other people’s ideas and suggestions, but we were still puzzled. Maybe even more confused than when we began our quest.
Finally, we came across a book that helped us: Bright Not Broken.
In the past, I have shared my feelings about this book. It is not an exaggeration to say that it changed the direction of our lives. I am so grateful for that and have shared my appreciation with the authors on more than one occasion.
Now, it’s my turn.
Last week, I finalized an agreement to write a book for GHF Press http://giftedhomeschoolers.org/ghf-press/ about supporting our twice-exceptional children.
I am beyond excited and honestly, a tad bit nervous. I want my book to make a difference to other families that feel as though they are stuck with more questions than answers.
This journey is just beginning and I will share more details along the way.
Thanks for your continued support!
