I am proud of my son.
Today, he took risks and attended a computer animation class in the city. He didn’t know anyone and many others came with friends. He didn’t participate the whole time, but he listened and observed and walked away with some new techniques.
I told My TBP that when I take a class, it’s even hard for me to walk into a room filled with strangers. I explained that if I leave with two or three new ideas, I consider the time well spent.
For those of you that know me in real life, you know that a boring class or a horrible presenter is hard for me. I tend to get fidgety and distract others.
Ironic, I know.
This class on its own would have been a lot, but he also went out to lunch and stopped by the craft store to pick up the clay that was used during the class demonstration.
It was a long day for him. A day that would have been too much for him not too long ago.
I am proud of my son.
That’s great! It must be such a good feeling to have so many signs that you’ve made the right decision and you’re doing a good job at it.
Thanks a bunch!
Wonderful! So proud for him and happy for you! It’s wonderful when we see our children taking a step in the right direction. 🙂
It sure is 🙂 Thank you!
What a wonderful success- for both of you!
